Tarte 'Call of the Wild' Palette

Hey Guys So i just got the new Tarte Call of the Wild Palette, it came as part of a collection, and i thought it was gorgeous looking so i purchased this a few days ago. Batman Inspired Makeup

So I recently entered in Makeupgeek's weekly contest on her website, the theme was 'Batman Inspired' and the prizes are a L'oreal blush and 2 lipsticks. This was more fun to do than anything :) I based my look on the  'batman shaped ninja star' that was posted with the blog (i'll put a picture down below) :) I LOVE how it came out, i feel like the pictures didnt give it justice (they usually dont) and i had a lot of fun doing it. I didnt feel like doing a tutorial on it because its mid July and pretty useless at this time of year, maybe in October, but for now i'll write out what i did :)

How I did this:
- I DID EVERYTHING BEFORE APPLYING CONCEALER AND FOUNDATION
- I started off by applying a primer( Urban Decay Primer Potion) all over my lids and on the bridge of my nose.
-With a black pencil eyeliner (i sharpened it as sharp as i could to get a fine point) I free hand drew the top (using my brows as a guideline)and sides of the the batman figure, i waited to draw the bottom point on the bridge of my nose until i was ready to line my uperlash line(so that i could connect it and use it as a starting point)
-Next I added a gray sparkly base, for this i used Maybelline Color Tattoo in Audacious Asphalt over the same area that i applied the primer.
- Over that i applied "Print" by MAC to even everything out
-Then using Gunmetal from the original Naked palette by Urban Decay, I applied that HEAVILY, EVERYWHERE (even over and above the brows) that i put the base and Print.
-Next i filled in my brows with a black eyeliner to stand out.
-Under the brow and right above the brow where the top corner of the 'bat wings' were i highlighted with "Pistol" from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. I also lightly applied a tiny bit of 'Pistol' on the center of the lid to add a bit of dimension.
- In the crease i lightly blended 'Creep' (from the NAKED 1) and 'Blackout' (from the NAKED 2)
-Then using MAC Fluid Line in "Blacktrack" i lined the upper lash lines and connected and drew out the the botton point on the bridge of my nose.
-Then i touched up anything that i need too and evened it out
-I lined my water lines with black eyeliner
-Then outlined my lower lash line and under the point on the bridge of my nose with "Verve" from the NAKED2
-Finally i applied mascara and false lashes (i forgot which ones but they were from Ardell)
- On the lips i used "Send Me Sailing" Lipglass from the MAC 'Hey Sailor' collection

:) Enjoy xoxo

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadows

Soooooooooooooo, i know i'm super late on these (cuz most of the reviews that i've seen are 5+ months old) but i finally got around to trying out the Maybelline color tattoos. I took advantage of a deal this weekend at Ulta, where they were half off (plus i had my coupon for $3.50 off $10) and i got 9 out of 10 of these puppies. The one that i didn't get was the white one which is called Too Cool, i didnt get it because i have multiple dupes for it in different brands already. This isn't going to be much of a review, more pictures really. But i must say i'm presently surprised with these, they make awesome bases. :) BTW i will be using these in A LOT of future Tutorials :)

                THE COLORS ARE:
 -Fierce and Tangy
-Audacious Asphalt
-Painted Purple
-Bad to the Bronze
-Pomegranate Punk
-Tough as Taupe
-Tenacious Teal
-Bold Gold
-Edgy Emerald

Good Deal :)

I love checking out the cosmetic/beauty sections at Marshall's, TJ Maxx and Ross. *Even though most of the time they are teeny tiny sections that are a real mess, and sometimes you can tell that kids got into some of the eyeshadows and opened them and put their grubby little hand in it!!* If you dig good enough you can sometimes find amazing deals. On really really lucky diggings i've found NARS and The Balm products. There's a lot of ELF stuff too, which is basically free because elf is already cheap and they take like 50% off. So anyways on my recent trip to Ross I found this Physicians Formula set for $6.99!! It brings the a magnetic bamboo case and a bronzer and translucent power refill pans. Considering i just bought a mosaic setting powder from them for 13.99 i think this is a real good deal. * i know why it was 'cheap' though, the the bamboo case is 'supposed' to only hold one refill pan, and the other slot has a mirror and brush, well the brush was missing and the mirror was in there but it popped off... :D well i MacGyver'd it, and just threw the mirror away and put some magnetic tape (the same that i use for my MAC palettes) and was able to put the other refill pan in there :) I'd love to hear about some of the finds you guys have found :)
